Protein Chocolate

This good looking protein packed chocolate is super easy to make. Plus, ones you’ve mastered this process, you can start experimenting with different ingredients and that’s when shizzle starts to hizzle! Let’s start with this recipe to cover the basics.

Make sure to stack up on the following items:
– Take-A-Whey Whey Protein (we used Chocolate Milkshake)

– 200 g dark Chocolate (at least 75% cacao)
– Red berries (looks pretty and adds a little sour to your sweet)
– Nuts, like almonds or walnuts
– Coconut oil
Also:
– Aluminum foil
– Flat tray that fits in your refrigerator

The process is really easy. Break the dark chocolate into little pieces and melt Au bain-marie (Au bain who? Click here). Add a full spoon of coconut oil and let it all melt together. Ones melted, add two cups of the protein powder. stir well and finally add the berries and the grounded nuts. Ones all is melted together poor onto a tray covered in aluminum foil that you’ve slightly covered in olive oil (theĀ aluminum foil, not the tray). Divide evenly on the aluminum foil and let cool in the refrigerator. Let it sit for a few hours and ones hardened, break roughly into pieces. Serve folded into an old newspaper to make it look extra cool!
